Advanced Vascular Access Course

This is the big brother to UltraCann course and aims to teach the main issues for more advanced vascular access.

The course will cover:

• Midline
• PICCs and central lines
• Anatomy and line choice
• Safety and infection issues
• Chest x-ray interpretation
• Practical simulated ultrasound-guided insertion of midline/PICC/CVC including subcalvian

High numbers of faculty and a focus on hands on practice.

Open to all grades of staff including those starting out in anaesthetics and/or critical care / ACPs OR those wishing to review.

Awaiting RCOA CPD and FUSIC Vascular accreditation.
