Levelling The Field
This national conference will address the theme of ’Championing ethnic diversity in the NHS’ and will be held virtually. The packed programme with nationally important contributors has been organised by Trainee and SAS doctors passionate about making a difference.
This conference is for anyone who wants to strengthen ethnic diversity in the NHS. We hope that this will include everyone with an investment in healthcare, from frontline clinical and non-clinical staff at every level, to those working in national bodies such as Health Education England, Royal Medical and Nursing Colleges, regulating bodies and government.
This conference is credited with 6 CPD points.
Levelling the Field 2020 attracted more than 1000 delegates from across the whole range of healthcare. It received overwhelmingly positive feedback, and this year’s programme is built on that foundation. The focus this year is to generate ideas and practical solutions which delegates can implement in their workplace. Please look at the programme and send us questions you would like us to ask the speakers and panellists during the conference. We will also be taking questions live during the day.
Invitation to submit abstracts: Have you been involved with any project linked to the wellbeing of the NHS workforce? Take a look at our poster competition and submit your entry! Certificates and prizes will be awarded. Please open the document attached for more details.
Free mentoring session: Mentoring is a conversation with a ‘skilled helper’ (Egan model) and it can help you to move forward with an opportunity or dilemma which you are stuck on. If you are looking to improve things at work and not sure where to start, the North East Mentoring Organisation (NEMO) is offering a free ‘taster’ mentoring session for delegates registering for Levelling the Field 2021.
Please email NEMOmentoring@gmail.com with the subject ’LtF mentoring session request’ (subject to availability).
We look forward to you joining us for Levelling the Field 2021!
